About Interwoven Wellness
Interwoven Wellness was born out of my own health journey.
I screeched into my 40s in a state of full panic. Years of business travel and poor lifestyle choices were catching up to me at an alarming rate, and my quality of life was slipping away.
I woke up every day feeling sluggish and stiff. Work was a caffeine-fueled grind. I was too tired or sore to play with my kids. Basic work around the house led to nagging injuries. I ate like garbage and was closing in on 300 pounds.
I felt awful...
Today, I'm in a completely different place, waking up eager to take on a new day and excited for what lies ahead. My weight, while not exactly where I want it to be, keeps moving towards my goal. I'm able to lift more weight and have better endurance than at any point in my life. I enjoy quality, restorative sleep every night.
So... what changed?
After spending more than seven years researching optimal health and using my body as a test lab, trying just about every diet, fitness regimen, biohack and supplement, I've found a process that delivers improved overall health in a way that I can live with. One that facilitates weight loss while not losing lean muscle mass. One that provides deep recovery sleep on a daily basis. One that avoids waking up feeling creaky with stiff joints.
By earning certifications in nutrition, sleep and stress management, mobility, flexibility and fitness, this process merges multiple facets of health to ensure optimal wellness and foundational health.
The key is small, sustainable changes over time rather than drastic upheavals in diet, exercise or supplementation. While large changes may lead to spectacular short-term results, in the longer term, most people find themselves right back where they began - if not even worse.
My goal in creating Interwoven Wellness is to share this knowledge and help people live more rewarding, enjoyable and active lives through a personalized plan that addresses your unique challenges, lifestyle and goals.
